We are thrilled to announce our Information Technology Student Profile of the Month!

Congratulations to Amy Webb who is currently completing her ICT40120 – Certificate IV in Information Technology traineeship with INS Consulting

Below are the insights she shared about her training experience and how she has applied the knowledge she acquired to her professional life.

Q: What have you gained most so far from your traineeship at Integrity?
A: I’ve learned that understanding the process and the ‘why’ behind a task is more important than knowing just how to complete a task.

Q: What do you enjoy most about the course?
A: I like the class environment and support we receive from our teachers during this period. The teacher follows up with us on our assessments and helps to navigate any issues we come across.

Q: What skills have you gained through your traineeship that you can directly apply into your workplace?
A: I’ve learned a lot about servers and the networking required behind setting them up. I’ve gained experience on how the tools on servers work and how to apply them.

Q: What does your role entail?
A: I am currently a trainee with an MSP. My role requires me to be a level 1 helpdesk as well as providing and maintaining network security systems for clients.

Q: What advice can you give anyone who is thinking about undertaking a traineeship?
A: Take your time to understand the process of how systems work. There is a lot of benefits in knowing how and why something is working, not just the steps it takes to fix something. This will help you in your studies, as most systems are linked in one way or another.

Q: How do you find our Online Virtual training – is it something you would recommend?
A: I really enjoy the way your online virtual training is set up; I find it easy to join classes and ask for help at needed. We are provided support on completing our assessments and get an insight into future assessments when other students receive help.

Q: How do you find working and training together at the same time, is it beneficial?
A: I find this very beneficial, I’m able to use the tasks I’ve completed at work in my studies and vice versa. I’ve learned a lot of the background with systems that I’d only scratched the surface on at work.

Q: How did you find the working relationship between yourself and Integrity Business College?
A: Integrity is very supportive and follows up with how my work and school are incorporating together. It helps us both understand where my progression and how to apply this to my studies.

Congratulations Amy! Your exceptional dedication to your IT training and unwavering passion for the filed has been great to see. Keep up the great work!
