Grace Powell is a 21-year-old student with us here at Integrity who is currently undergoing her final unit for a Certificate III in Business whilst working for McDermotts Garden Care.
Grace is currently working on her last unit of her course and couldn’t be happier with how she’s done throughout her training, as well as the confidence she’s gained from working with McDermotts Garden Care.
When working at McDermotts Garden Care, Grace has found herself participating in both the administrative side and the practical side as recently she’s being helping in the field.
“I was working at Target before I started my Certificate III, I was between jobs not knowing what I wanted to do until a family friend came to me asking if I’d be interested in doing a Certificate III with Integrity.”
In the future, Grace isn’t sure where she’d like to go and has an interest in becoming a financial planner further down the line but is considering furthering her education by potentially doing a Certificate IV in Business next year.
In the workplace, Grace’s coworkers create an environment where she feels safe and is comfortable around others, as well as never finding herself stressed or overwhelmed. Her supervisor, Alison McDermott has been fantastic and has always been understanding and clear when asked questions by Grace.
All in all, Grace has absolutely loved doing a Certificate III with us here at Integrity, and we’re so proud of how she’s done throughout her time here and wish her all the best for her future endeavors.
