Congratulations to Emilia Watts!
Emilia is completing BSB40120 – Certificate IV in Business as a trainee with Gforce Employment & Recruitment and is hosted to City of Greater Geelong council.
Here are the insights she shared about her training experience and how she has applied the knowledge to her professional life.
Q: What does your role entail?
A: Business Administration – My role entails registering animals, processing animal refunds, reporting dog attacks, parking enquiries and general customer service enquiries.
Q: What skills have you gained through your traineeship that you can directly apply into your workplace?
A: I have gained so many skills and knowledge through this traineeship including customer service and critical thinking skills.
Q: What aspects of your training have brought you the greatest enjoyment thus far?
A: Starting this traineeship was a bit nerve racking but the greatest enjoyment is how much I have learnt and completing over half of my studies already is a great achievement.
Q: What advice can you give anyone who is thinking about undertaking a traineeship?
A: If you are thinking about starting a traineeship, go for it! Nothing better than learning on the job and getting all the experience you need while studying.
Q: How has your traineeship experience influenced your short-term and long-term career goals?
A: Upon completing this traineeship, I hope to get full time employment and I might go on to study diploma in business in the future
Q: How did you find working and training together at the same time, is it beneficial?
A: Working and training together is very beneficial! Gives you a more hands on experience and helps a lot with your studies.
Q: How did you find our Online Virtual training – is it something you would recommend?
A: I have never done online virtual training before, so far, it’s been great! If you need anything your teacher is just an email away.
Q: How did you find the working relationship between yourself and Integrity Business College?
A: Integrity Business College has been a good place to study very helpful and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them if you were thinking about studying.
It’s been wonderful to see Emilia grow throughout her traineeship and build her skills in the workplace. We’re excited to see where her journey takes her in the future.
