Congratulations Ashlea Thies

Ashlea is completing a BSB30120 – Certificate III in Business as a Trainee Administration Assistant at Aus Eco Solutions.

Here’s what Ashlea had to say about her traineeship journey.

Q: What does your role entail?
A:
As a trainee admin assistant, my role involves a diverse range of tasks to assist the admin team and the business. These tasks include invoicing, completing paysheets, assisting with recruitment, completing meeting minutes, analysing and sorting data and various other duties.

Q: What skills have you gained through your traineeship that you can directly apply into your workplace?
A:
The traineeship has given me various skills but key ones include understanding how laws and regulations must be considered in all areas of a business and applying this understanding to ensure company compliance. I also improved my problem-solving skills and learned how to determine the best course of action to rectify identified problems or areas needing improvement.

Q: What aspects of your training have brought you the greatest enjoyment thus far?
A: Being able to directly apply what I have learnt to my job has been the best part, as it makes what I have been learning more relevant and useful.

Q: What advice can you give anyone who is thinking about undertaking a traineeship?
A: A traineeship is definitely worth it, being able to study and then apply that knowledge straight away in the job really helps cement the learning. I’d recommend that when completing the certificate, when needing to create a document for an assignment, consulting with your supervisor is very helpful as they can give you an idea to create something that the business needs and that can be submitted for that unit.

Q: How did you find our Online Virtual training – is it something you would recommend?
A:
I would recommend the Online Virtual training, it made it really easy to see the course work load and the questions and assessments flowed logically and were easy to follow.

Q: How did you find working and training together at the same time, is it beneficial?
A:
Working and training simultaneously is very beneficial, as you can immediately apply the skills you were taught, ensuring you understand them and become a more skilled employee.

Q: How has your traineeship experience influenced your short-term and long-term career goals?
A: The traineeship has made me consider further study in the future because it increased my enjoyment of learning, especially when it relates to my work, and motivated me to continue upskilling to make me more valuable as an employee at my current workplace and in any potential future employment.

Q: Upon completion, do you plan to further your studies?
A:
For now I plan to focus on my work but will keep an open mind and consider studying more in the future to continue upskilling.

Q: How did you find the working relationship between yourself and Integrity Business College?
A:
Communication was easy when needed, and I never encountered any problems. Everyone that I interacted with at Integrity was always polite and very helpful.

Q: Would you recommend Integrity?
A:
I would recommend Integrity, they made everything easy to understand and I gained great skills that I can apply in my work.
